She is an endodontist who is committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care and a supportive and reassuring experience for patients of all ages.

Dr. Nunez’s interest in dentistry began at a young age and deepened while volunteering at the USC School of Dentistry, where she saw how dental fear can affect patients’ care. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion & Disease Prevention Studies at USC, gaining a strong foundation in public health and preventive care. She later expanded this training by pursuing a Master of Public Health degree at Columbia University while simultaneously completing her dental degree.

Following dental school, Dr. Nunez completed a three-year Endodontics residency at Harvard University and earned a Master of Medical Sciences in Oral Biology from Harvard Medical School. Her research focused on the relationship between clinical symptoms and oral biomarkers and was published in the Journal of Endodontics.

Dr. Nunez is also engaged in leadership, education, and public service. She is the Immediate Past President of the Massachusetts Association of Endodontists and serves on a national committee for the American Association of Endodontists. the Massachusetts Dental Advisory Committee and a member of the Harvard Odontological Society. After relocating to Portland, she joined the Marshall/Baumgartner Endodontic Study Group.
